Site work for a civil project in Leduc, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Generally the work includes, but is not limited to the following: Site preparation and management, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control measure and delineation of work zones. Stripping of organic material and grade widening of Grant MacEwan Boulevard. Saw cutting and removal of existing hard surfacing materials. Various existing deep utility removal and disposals as required for project upgrades. Storm sewer installation, including utility mains, manholes and catch basins. Fine grading and preparation of subgrade. Placement of concrete works, including curb and gutter, slab on grade median, separate walk, and curb ramps. Placement of various roadway structures, including gravel base course and asphalt pavement. Construction of asphalt trails for pedestrian movement within the project area. Adjustments to the existing intersections traffic signals. Placement of topsoil, seed, sod, and trees within the project area. Coordination of work with shallow utility companies and others as necessary. Installation of noise attenuation fence, lot refurbishment and resident coordination.
