Site work for a mixed-use development in Leduc, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope 1- Community Garden Gravel Parking Lot and Fence This project will include the construction of a 620m2 gravel parking lot and 315m of post and rail fence at a new Community Garden site located off of Grant MacEwan Blvd. The scope of work in this project will include geotextile placement, gravel placement, minor landscaping and the installation of post and rail fence. Scope 2 - Caledonia Park Trail Extension This project will include the construction of approximately 130m of 3.0m wide asphalt multiway trail near the Caledonia Park School to tie in the existing trail to the sidewalk along Coady Blvd.The scope of work in this project will include excavation, subgrade preparation, granular base course, asphalt paving, topsoil stripping and replacement, and minor landscaping. Scope 3-Telford Lake Trail Seating Nodes This project includes the installation of approximately 90m2 of decorative concrete for a total of 10 seating nodes and 12 benches along the Telford Lake Trail. The scope of work in this project will include excavation, subgrade preparation, granular base course, concrete pads, topsoil stripping and replacement, landscaping and the installation of City provided benches and garbage bins. TIMELINE: The owner has determined a prequalified list of contractors for the project. Projects may be re-published once they have been approved with tender and construction. Coverage of this report is discontinued. *Budget is unreleased.
