Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Kapolei, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes cold planing, resurfacing, reconstruction of weakened pavement areas, utility adjustment, widening, regrading, hydro-mulch seeding, removal of existing guardrail and obsolete irrigation pipes, installation of guardrail, end treatments, grouted rubble paving, safety edge, shoulder dressing, pavement markings, striping, retroreflective borders on all overhead traffic signal heads, milepost reference markers, signs, curb ramps, curbing, curb and gutter, sidewalks, catch basins, traffic signals, and shared use path with lighting, modification of traffic signal timing and phasing, and upgrading of existing railroad crossing. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license, prior to bidding. Compliance with Act 192, SLH 2011 is a requirement whereby a minimum of 80% of the bidder's work force on this project must consist of Hawaii residents.ALL requests for information (RFI) shall be received in writing (email is preferred) no less than 14 calendar days before bid opening. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal requests for information will not receive a response. All meeting attendees should bring their questions in writing tothe meeting. Anything said at the conference is for clarification purposes and any changes to the bid documents will be made by addendum.
