Site work and paving for a civil project in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 9, 2022, project was awarded to Hessling Construction, awarded amount is $488,497.45. As of 04/12/2022 This project has not been awarded. The project consists of the installation of curb and gutter along approximately 1300 linear feet of an existing two-lane roadway. Additionally, around 1480 linear feet of storm drain pipe, inlets, junction boxes, flared end sections with associated pavement repair, grading, topsoil and seeding shall be constructed along the roadway. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Pea Ridge, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. All questions should be submitted in writing, either through the portal or direct email to eanderson@mce.us.com. All questions must be received by 5:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022. Questions after this time may not be addressed. The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 the City of Pea Ridge, Arkansas encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, the City of Pea Ridge encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date. liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) Contractor shall pay Owner Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00) for each day that expires after the time specified in Paragraph 3 for completion and readiness for final payment. .
