The w ater intake w eir has deteriorated from the time that previous repairs w ere undertaken. The concrete cap has several large cracks in the surface, the gabion baskets below the cap can be seen in locations, and some pieces of the dow n stream edge of the concrete w eir cap have broken off. The gabion baskets have also deteriorated, many are missing rock material or have broken open. During boring it w as observed that there are large voids under the concrete cap and w ater w as flow ing through the w eir. SEE SPECIFICATIONS FOR FULL DETAILS.
