A 2,050 sf interior renovations and 550 sf addition to the existing women's dorm area, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical and specialty detention doors and hardware. All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department, 615 East Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid, and shall be made payable to the Owner. All questions regarding this project and the bid package shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 4:00 pm on Monday February 17, 2020. All information will be treated confidentially and caller anonymity will be respected. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
