Insurance Required No Bid Bond Required No The City of Leesburg is soliciting qualified contractors with expertise in sanitary sewer rehabilitation work. Work consists of the method and process for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, necessary to provide for the complete rehabilitation of deteriorated sanitary sewer pipes by the Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) method. The CIPP process in a typical and general form consists of a one piece flexible resin impregnated felt tube which is inserted into an existing pipe. The curing of the resin shall be accomplished by circulating heated water or steam. The cured resin system shall achieve the desired cure throughout the length of the tube, extending full-length from structure to structure. The resin should be cured into a hard, impermeable pipe of the desired thickness, providing a structurally sound, smooth interior and tight-fitting liner within the existing pipe. The lined pipe shall provide a hydraulic flow equal to, or greater than, the original new sewer capacity.
