Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Leesburg, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
**As of January 24, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Town of Leesburg is accepting sealed bids for a partial remodel of the Leesburg Fire Department. EMS AREA FIRE DEPARTMENT KITCHEN AND BAY o Build three walls 10.6x6' for bedrooms and insulate with a 3' door. o Remove door in bedroom and patch. o Install a new 3' door in hallway (trim and frame). o Replace all ceiling tiles with new (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen). o Trim bedroom with 1x4" wood base. o Bathroom countertop 4'x25.5" installation of Formica (our counter color choice). o Kitchen countertop 7'.9"x 25.5" installation of Formica (our counter color choice). o Left corner in kitchen frame for countertop 4'x24" add one leg. o Build 8'x 22' wall with plywood siding panel (Tl-11 4") in bay off of the EMS room (wall will be double sided finish) with one 3' door (trim and frame). o Paint all walls with our color choice. o Paint bathroom and kitchen cabinets with our color choice. o Paint bathroom and shower area with our color choice o Replace trim and base around PVC board in bathroom. NO PAINTING IN THE BAY AREA OFF OF THE EMS ROOM00 o Insulate kitchen and bay from front to back (ceiling and walls) o 19'x24' new drop ceiling for kitchen with four 2'x4' walls and insulated. o Take out and install four new 8' LED lights in bay. o Install wood walls with plywood siding panel (Tl-11 4") in kitchen and one 19' wall (will be double sided). o Frame and trim door and window. o Install three electrical plugs in bay. o Install standard electrical plugs in kitchen (plugs for stove, microwave and refrigerator). o Install upper and bottom cabinets in kitchen and paint with our color choice. o Install Formica countertop (our counter color choice). o Install four new LED drop ceiling lights in kitchen. o Replace 3' door leading into meeting room (trim and frame). o Install a new 3' door leading into bay from kitchen (trim and frame).
