Sealed Bids for "Estates at Northgate Phase 1, Section 2 for North San Gabriel MUD No. 2, Williamson County, Texas Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: RCP drainage piping, including approximately 36"-42" pipe, 6'x3' boxes, end treatments and appurtenances; Grass-Lined Channels; Water Piping, including 8" mains, valves and appurtenances; Paving, Signing and Striping; Excavation and Embankment; Water Quality Infrastructure including a Detention Pond; and various Sedimentation & Erosion Control Improvements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Payment and Performance Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The Owner may, on its own initiative, issue Addenda before the Bid opening and, if necessary, delay the Bid opening to ensure that bidders have had sufficient time to consider the Addenda. Bidders should read and understand all terms and conditions contained in these Contract Documents. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of the bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be accepted.
