Site work for a municipal facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Construction of a secure, opaque, gated enclosure for both judicial vehicle parking and the pedestrian walkway leading from the designated parking area to the judicial entry / exit door of the building which also serves as a fire exit. A mechanical cantilevered sliding vehicular gate (post mounted without ground track) to control vehicle access to the designated judiciary parking area is preferred by the client. The project scope also includes design and construction of an AODA compliant access ramp and walkway leading from the parking lot to the judicial entry / exit door of the building along with the appropriate signage, man door, exterior lighting, duress and camera monitoring. TIMELINE: An RFP for design consultant services was awarded by the owner; details are not being released for publication. Preliminary budget estimates are less than $1 million. Project may be followed once approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
