Site work for a water / sewer project in Athens, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing Crescent Heights Water Supply 100,000-gallon elevated storage tank. A Bidder's Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check in an amount not less that (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the Crescent Heights WSC. The project generally includes miscellaneous repairs, sandblasting, and new coating systems on the interior and exterior surfaces of the EST. The project is to be substantially complete within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and shall be fully complete within 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Notice to proceed date is anticipated as March 23, 2020. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Crescent Heights WSC reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
