Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Roop Street Fiber Optic Project. The project includes installing 144 strand fiber optic cable along Roop Street and College Parkway primarily in existing conduit with additional improvements at signaled intersections and at the end points of the project including adding and replacing pull boxes, and re-routing conduit. QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. You are encouraged to visit the City's website for that recommendation or contact Carol Akers at CAkers@carson.org for the recommendation.
