The work to be performed by the Testing, Inspection, Preventive Maintenance, On-Call Repairs and Emergency Services Contractor under these Specifications shall consist of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies and other expenses necessary to provide full Testing, Inspection, Preventive Maintenance, On-Call Repairs and Emergency Services of every description, including but not limited to inspections, adjustments, testing and replacement of parts for Swimming Pool Repairs and Supplies and related equipment covered under this Contract and the preparation/furnishing of certifications and reports as required. Questions Due Date: Feb 26th 2020, 12:00 PM EST Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). For the purposes of this chapter, MBE shall mean any a small contractor with at least 51% ownership by one or more persons. Women Business Enterprise (WBE) For the purpose of this chapter, shall mean (can be of any ethnic background) A small contractor with at least 51% ownership by one or more women. Self-Perform means that a registered SBE, MBE, WBE whether a Prime Contractor or a subcontractor, performs 30% of the value of its work. Salary rates and the classification of employees shall be as specified in the Bid Documents. The rate of pay set forth in the Bid Documents is the minimum that shall be paid during the life of the Contract. Bidders must inform themselves about local labor conditions (e.g. the length of work day and the work week, overtime compensation, health and welfare contributions, labor supply and prospective changes and adjustments of rates). For Construction related Bids, a Bid Bond is required if indicated in the Project Summary above and/or if your Bid exceeds $100,000. When a Bid Bond is required, the Awardee will be required to produce a Labor Material and Performance Bond for the total contract amount (this is also detailed in the Project Summary).
