As of September 25, 2020, a general contractor has been selected for this project. Construction is estimated to begin, Spring, 2021. Low Level Outlet Works Rehabilitation to the Coolidge Dam, San Carlos Indian Reservation, Arizona. The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted (open to both large and small businesses) Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request For Proposal (RFP). NAICS is 237990, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 002100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. The Project consists the following: Clearing and grubbing construction areas of vegetation. The work includes supply of equipment and structures and all labor, plant, equipment and materials for the rehabilitation of the two (2) low level outlets of the Coolidge Dam, near Globe, Arizona. This includes selective rehabilitation and modifications to the existing outlet towers and low level conduits, addition of new isolation valves, upgrade of the existing regulating and guard gates operating equipment and control systems and other miscellaneous improvements in support of the overall rehabilitation. Both above and underwater work will be required for this project. The Project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. The proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
