Renovation of an educational facility in Arthur, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
*There are no documents associated with this project other than the Invitation to Bid.* Arthur Community Unit School District #305, Arthur, Illinois will receive bids for the High School Platform Wheelchair Lift Replacement. The project consists of supplying and installing one inclined platform wheelchair lift with three stops, 660 lb capacity or higher, platform size of 31-1/2" x 48". All labor and materials necessary for delivery, set-up, installation, adjusting, inspecting, testing and delivery of the complete lift system to be provided. Two year parts and labor warranty to be included. Prevailing wages in accordance with Douglas County is required. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Bid security shall be made payable to Arthur CUSD #305. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond or a Labor & Material Payment Bond is required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the March 18, 2020 regular meeting of the Board of Education.
