Site work and new construction of a power facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility.
The City of Saskatoon (the "City") is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide the Design-Build of a 2.8 MW-dc solar photovoltaic (PV) generating station adjacent to Dundonald Avenue in Saskatoon, SK. The qualified contractor will design, fabricate, supply, and install a ground mounted utility-interactive solar photovoltaic system including the design and infrastructure to support a future Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as a plug and play option. The utility interconnection will be utilizing the 15 kV three phase underground distribution feeder running through the north end of the site with concrete pull-vault. This project site also includes a naturalized landscape component which will be contracted separately. The successful proponent of this RFP will be expected to interact with a landscaping contractor on a limited basis including accommodating site access as coordinated by the City's Project Manager. * Nothing has been awarded for this project at this time.
