Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eagan, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Providing sustainable trails and an internal connector trail were identified as high priority improvements in the adopted 2015 Lebanon Hills Regional Park Master Plan. This request would provide funding for the design and implementatation of the first phase of trail improvements, focusing exclusively on conducting sustainability improvements to the park's existing trail network. Design would be informed by the outcomes of the Sustainable Trails Study, to be developed in 2022-2023. Design of improvements would initiate in 2023-2024. This request does not advance the design, engineering, or construction of the conceptualized internal connector trail. As of January 20, 2023, this project is currently in the Dakota County 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Funding for this project is allotted in the County's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
