Site work and paving for a road / highway in Swisher, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All work on Phase 2 shall begin on April 1, 2021 and shall be completed within 30 working days. Liquidated Damages in the amount of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars per calendar day will be assessed for each day work remains incomplete on Phase 1. Liquidated Damages in the amount of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars per calendar day will be assessed for each day work remains incomplete on Phase 2. Liquidated damages for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be assessed independently. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid. Project includes earthwork, pavement, stormsewer, street lighting, streetscaping, box culvert and other items of work shown on plans and as detailed in the "Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS)", except as modified herein.
