Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Markdale, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 78,000-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The Owner, Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) is inviting proposals to identify qualified Mechanical Contractors to provide Mechanical construction services for the new Markdale Hospital project, a greenfield project located in the town of Markdale. This RFQ will establish a short list of a maximum of six qualified vendors who will participate in the tender process for the new Markdale Hospital, located in the town of Markdale. GBHS will also be inviting proposals to identify qualified General Contractors under a separate RFQ to establish a short list of qualified Contractors for the project, who the successful Mechanical Contractor will be a sub-contract to. Located in the town of Markdale, 2 hrs (150 km) North West of Toronto and 35 minutes (40 km) South East of Owen Sound, in Grey County, the proposed new hospital will be a single storey structure with a full lower level and a mechanical penthouse.
