The Municipality of Grey Highlands is requesting proposals for the collection, hauling and processing of single-stream Blue Box Recyclables and waste. The scope of work, as detailed in this Request for Proposals (RFP), will involve the collection from curbside of household Blue Box Recyclables and hauling of containers of non-compacted Recyclables from the participating public recycling (Waste Diversion Sites) to a processing facility. The contracted services may include hauling bulked and/or compacted Recyclables and waste from the waste disposal sites, using front loaded bin, to a licensed processing facility and providing Blue Box Recyclables processing services at that facility. Grey Highlands is requesting proposals for the haulage of the recyclable materials from curbside and/or the local Waste Disposal Sites to the processing facility, and the processing/marketing of the recyclable materials in accordance with and as defined in this proposal and other documents forming part of this RFP. The contracted services will also include curbside collection of household garbage and delivery to a designated site for disposal and the movement of bins between Waste Disposal Sites.
