The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. WORK consists generally of demolition and renovation of interior High School Science Lab including flooring, masonry, finishes, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work, at Illini Bluffs High School, located at 9611 S. Hanna City-Glasford Road, Glasford, Illinois Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq.). Every bid shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond,certified check or cashier's check made payable to Illini Bluffs Community Unit School District #327, in amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of his bid. All bidders not previously pre-qualified in the past two years must be pre-qualified with the Owner. Pre-qualification information shall be submitted in duplicate on a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, 2007 Edition and received for consideration at the office of Kenyon and Associates, Architects, 206 NE Madison Avenue, Peoria, Illinois 61602-1216, by the bid opening date. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of Owner. Work shall be substantially complete by August 7, 2020.
