For 2020 Protection, Health, and Safety Project Implementation The project consists of: 1. Replace / infill coiling exterior door in room SC 164 2. Complete Masonry repairs and Sealant replacement where required below eave level and re-seal face brick on Scherer Industrial Tech penthouse wall. 3. Replace exterior entry doors / glazing system (including curtain wall support where required) at Shilling Center main entry, Center Core main entry, and Scherer Industrial Tech main entry. Coordinate installation to retain interior vestibules if possible. 4. Replace sidewalk at north entry to Scherer Industrial Tech. 5. Replace portion of drive and sidewalk south of existing main buidling. 6. Provide portion of sidewalk connecting main building to CSI building. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
