Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Decatur, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of a Service Drive Improvement and Masonry Restoration. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). a) Removal of concrete drive. b) Replacement of drive and grading to allow for proper drainage to the storm sewer in that area. c) Gutters and downspouts added along full length of building overhang and installation of storm sewer. d) Add heat trace system to gutters. e) Install steel rack storage system. f) Removal of east trench drain to be reformed with integral concrete, reusing existing metal crates.
