Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Wausau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
No proposal shall be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, payable to Rib Mountain Sanitary District, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. All bids submitted must be guaranteed for a period of at least sixty (60) days following the date of bid opening. Each bid must be submitted separately, on the forms provided, in a sealed opaque envelope, or box, and be clearly marked with the bid number and description, and mailed or hand-delivered to: Rib Mountain Sanitary District 224505 Lilac Avenue Wausau, WI 54401 Attn: Michael Heyroth Bids by phone, fax, or e-mail will not be accepted. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject all bids.
