Project No. 21015 As of January 6, 2022, this project is out to bid to general contractors. Work includes the removal of the existing HVAC and electrical system and re-installation of new systems at Everett Elementary School. The project will occur with students in the school, and as such will have multiple phases as the systems are removed. All bids must be on the LPS bid form. The primary scope of the project is for Indoor Air Quality improvements. This work consists of removal of the existing HVAC systems and installation of a new ground source heat pump-based system. In addition, work will include major upgrades to the electrical system--new service entrance, transformer, emergency generator, and new light fixtures in the entire building. 2. The General Construction work includes miscellaneous demolition for new duct and utility pathways, new windows, and construction of new restrooms in existing space. The work also includes modifications to an existing fan room at the roof of the building. The work also includes miscellaneous classroom renovations. 3. Site work includes, new sidewalk paving and other improvements, construction of a new parking lot along B Street, and miscellaneous repairs and replacement of walks and steps around the building. Sitework also involves a new turf playfield and basketball court. 4. BIM Execution. The General Contractor, and all sub-contractors under him, shall be responsible for following the BIM Modelling requirements as set forth in section 011010. Please note that these requirements will be deleted from the base bid under alternate #1.
