Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 16 Description Subject of the invitation to tender: The Université de Sherbrooke is issuing a call for tenders for the construction or expansion of 3IT for an electron microscope and for future research developments. The work covered by this contract includes, without being exhaustive: Demolition work related to the preparation for construction.
The preparatory work in the existing laboratories, a sequence is provided for in the architectural plans.
The complete construction of the extension of +/- 2000 m 2 on 1 floor.
Minor refurbishment work in the existing building.
Civil engineering infrastructure works and outdoor site development as well as all the other elements prescribed in the plans.
Structural work (foundation, slab, steel structure, reinforcements and walkway as well as all the other elements prescribed in the plans).
Architectural work (envelope, glazing, interior systems, finishes and all other elements prescribed in the plans and specifications).
Mechanical work (ventilation, heating, plumbing, fire protection, as well as all the other elements prescribed in the plans and specifications).
Electrical work (power supply, electrical services, controls as well as all other elements prescribed in the plans and specifications).
Exterior landscaping work included in the scope of the project.
The steel structure has been pre-selected. The price is listed in the Price Schedule of the Bid Form.
The air unit with regenerative energy recovery and the indoor air unit are subject to pre-selection, the price is listed in the Price Schedule of the Tender Form.
Outdoor chiller is subject to pre-selection, price will be confirmed in addendum
