As of January 25, 2024, construction is complete. *A ceremonial groundbreaking was held in January 2021. A construction manager has been awarded. A schedule for bidding has not been released. MUHA is soliciting Responses For Qualifications/Propsoals from qualifed Construction Mgmt firms for Pre-Construciton, GMP and Construciton Manager @ Risk Delivery Services for a new 25-bed, 75K sq. ft in-patient replacement hosp. in Williamsburg Cty, SC. Project will be developed by MUHA and will need to achieve minimum LEED Silver or 2 Green Globes. Proj Arch is: GMK Associates/McMillan Pazdan Smith. MUHA has set a project goal of 30% SWMBE participation which includes a 10% MBE participation. SWMBE Participation Plan develop a plan during Pre Construction to increase awareness and develop interest in the Small, Woman Owned, Minority Business Enterprise community to meet the MUHA goal of 30% SWMBE contribution, of which 10% shall be Minority Owned businesses.
