Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kingstree, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

This bid project includes construction of a unit of box hangars northwest of the existing nested T-Hangars. The new hangar unit will have overall dimensions of approximately 55 feet wide by 174 feet minimum to 290 feet maximum length. The base bid will include three box hangars, with two additive bids with one box hangar per bid. New asphalt apron area will also be constructed to provide access to and from the box hangar unit. Each box hangar will include electrical power, internal overhead lighting, light switches, electrical outlets, exterior lights over each hangar door, and electric bi-fold doors. Miscellaneous work items include demolition items, site grading and drainage, and erosion control. This project is funded under provisions of the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity Act of 1987. Certain mandatory federal requirements apply to this solicitation and will be made a part of any contract awarded: (a) Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 as amended by 29 CFR Part 30 and 41 CFR Part 60. (f) Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE) participation will be required as described in 49 CFR Part 23 and Part 26 and all pertinent amendments.
