Construction of 4" thick concrete slab for plans and specifications. 2. Excavate existing gravel screenings to desired elevations. 3. Concrete slab to be constructed at a slope consistent with adjacent batting cage; surface water to drain to the northwest. 4. Install reinforcement per plans and specifications. 5. Concrete mix design per plans and specifications; contractor to provide concrete delivery tickets indicating delivered slump, admixtures and design strength. 6. Backfill east edge of new slab with gravel screenings. Grade to below slab surface minimum of 2 inches. Grade gravel to slope from south to north. 7. Gravel screenings to be flush with top of slab between new slab and batting cage slab. 8. Install specified turf onto new slab per plans & specifications. Approved turf provider and installer is Sports Surface Management @ (918) 906-4132, Contact Taylor Estes'. 9. Approved turf type: AT740, Polyethylene and Nylon, Pile Height 24/32" +/- 1/8", Backing is 5mm with scrim, Color - green, Roll Width 12'. 10. Clean and Remove all construction debris from project site and properly dispose. The University reserves the right to waive minor informalities in bids and to split the award if in the best interest of the University. *This project was on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has been established.
