Renovation of an educational facility in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Fire Alarm Replacements at Northern Virginia Community College, Manassas Campus, MT (Power Technology) Building and MB (Building Trades) Building. The project is generally described as the replacement of the fire alarms in two occupied buildings. Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond (Form CO-10.2) is required for bids exceeding $100,000. Standard Performance Bond (CO-10) and Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (CO-10.1) will be required for contracts exceeding $100,000. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019. Substantial Completion of the entire project shall be 120 consecutive calendar days + Final Completion shall be achieved within 30 consecutive calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion
