Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Jacinto City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Work on this project can be described as improvements to the headworks, the oxidation ditch, process pumping, disinfection, effluent measurement, facilities, and controls and instrumentation. This project will be federally funded by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department through the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and administered by the Harris County Community Services Department (HCCSD). Bidders shall comply with regulations governing the CDBG Disaster Recovery Program (Regulation 24 CFR 570). Applicable requirements include but are not limited to compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and contracting with small, minority, and disadvantage firms, as detailed in the project manual. Accompany Bids with acceptable Cashier's or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, payable without recourse to the City, or a Bid Bond of like amount from an approved surety company, as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract. The successful Bidder must secure performance bonds and payment bonds from a company that is listed in the U. S. Treasury list of acceptable surety companies (DOT Circular 570)Upon consideration of the proposals the City plans to award a contract; however, the owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids. Bidders will be required to furnish verifiable references with their bid/proposals. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents' Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375, and a Supplemental in Department of Labor regulations 41 CFR part 60.This project will be federally funded by the U.
