Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: The project is being created to repair concrete structures on different areas of the Imperial Dam and All American Structures. The areas and repairs are listed below: California Sluiceway Bridge deck repairs AAC Section 1 (Basins) Bridge decks & Wingwalls AAC Section 2 (Bridges) Mission Bridge, Unnamed Bridge, & Picacho Bridge. Gila Headworks Bridge deck repairs, & Unused Gates AAC Section 4 (Bridge) Carballo Bridge. AAC Section 5 East Highline Turnout Structure Firms planning to attend should confirm their attendance with Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent via email to purchasing@iid.com. Responses will not be accepted from respondents not attending this mandatory meeting (See attached files). Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Questions concerning this Primary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time, Tuesday, March 31, 2020 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time, Thursday, April 2, 2020. All respondents are instructed to furnish, along with their response, a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their total bid amount. A Bid Bond form is included with the Response Forms. All respondents are cautioned to provide complete response packages in accordance with all requirements in this complete Primary Request for Proposal. Incomplete submittals will be considered non-responsive and will not be evaluated for possible award. Only persons or firms possessing a contractor's license in California and Arizona will be considered for this work. This project requires a current, valid type "C-8" California Specialty Contractor's License and "C-9" Arizona Specialty Contractor's License or an "A" California Contractor's License and an "A" Arizona Contractor's License. Contractor's license must be held in the legal name of the firm submitting the response.
