The work consists of providing special testing and inspection services as required by the construction specifications for the Berkeley County Administration Building Expansion and the Berkeley County Forensic Evidence Building. The County reserves the right to select more than one firm. QS shall be in a sealed envelope marked with the Solicitation Number "32406-04- 19/20" Solicitation Name "Special Testing & Inspections" and the Company Name and Address of the Offeror. QS will be publicly opened and read aloud. Offerors requiring additional information may submit their questions in writing. Questions may be directed to Scott Maxie, CPPB, via email at Scott.Maxie@berkeleycountysc.gov. The deadline for submitting written questions is Thursday, March 12, 2020 @ 12:00 PM EST. Verbal information obtained otherwise will not be considered in the awarding of the bid. The initial term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from the date of execution. The County reserves the right to extend the Agreement if County determines the extension is in its best interest; All work must be completed in accordance with the requirements and sequence of construction. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
