Renovation of a medical facility in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of 7/7/2020 project was already awarded but amount not available. This project is a renovation of approximately 1,080 square feet of imaging lab located on the second floor of the Clements Imaging Building (NE) on the UT Southwestern Medical Center North Campus. The project scope consists of limited demolition and renovation of an existing MRI Room. Too replace the existing magnet would require the going through the exterior building,. The project is in an active Oncology Clinic Floor, therefore, demolition, removal and installation of magnet must be done after hours (starting at 5:00 PM) and weekends. Crane Permit is required and infection control an important consideration during construction. To provide access into the MRI Suite NE2.216C, Equipment Room and construction zone Office staff of Room NE2.224 need to be relocated during construction. This will allow construction staff to create a path directly into the construction zone without disturbing the adjacent MRI suite NE2.216B. This project is in an imaging lab, as such, certain precautions, safety measures, and dust control must be planned accordingly and coordinated with the university.
