Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bayside Hills, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of November 17, 2020, this project is under construction. Performance Period: 730 Continuous Calendar Days A Bid Bond prepared on the form attached to the Construction Contract as Appendix C or a Certified Check of the Bidder for five (5%) percent of the Bid Amount must accompany the Lump Sum Bid Form. Removal and demolition of selected items from selected areas of the building as indicated on the Drawings; items to be removed include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Removal of fuel oil vent & fill piping, supply & return oil piping and all piping associated with the oil storage tanks. 2. Removal of the existing Boiler Plant which includes but is not limited to the following: 2-boilers, 2- burners, 2-boiler control panels, 2-draft inducers, all breeching, incinerator, oil heaters, air compressor & air tank, duplex oil pump, 2 duplex vacuum pumps, duplex feed water pump, all associated controls, equipment pads, all piping indicated on plans. Removal of all supports, pads, motors, starters, conduit, etc associated with the above mentioned equipment & piping. 3. Removal of existing F&T trap assemblies (serving the coils & drips) as indicated on the drawings. 4. Removal of existing thermostats, thermostatic traps, steam & condensate piping, valves on all convectors/radiators throughout the building and as shown on drawing 5. Remove hot water heater tank and all associated piping
