Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Phoenix, Arizona. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Utility Vault Upgrade and Infield Paving Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and City staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. This project site is located at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This project will utilize federal, state, and local funds and is subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 and the U.S. Department of Transportation DBE Program. Preconstruction and complete construction services will require phasing consistent with FAA grant funding availability awarded over multiple fiscal periods. The estimated total cost for construction for this project is $11 million This project will utilize federal, state, and local funds and is subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 and the U.S. Department of Transportation DBE Program. This project involves upgrading utility vaults and manholes across Phoenix Sky Harbors south airfield by raising the City's airfield lighting vaults, replacing vault lids as necessary, adjusting the FAA's utility and communication vaults, and grading the immediate area around them to improve drainage. The project will also include infield asphalt paving to ensure proper elevations and drainage in the infields to divert water runoff around the utility structures and minimize, if not eliminate, water intrusion within each vault. The infields affected are adjacent to Runway 7L/25R, Taxiway Echo and Taxiway Foxtrot and work shall happen only during nightly runway closures and taxiway restrictions. The total affected area is approximately 210,000 square yards of south airfield infields. The preferred CMAR shall have experience working in an active airport operations movement area, working within a constrained environment, and in coordinating projects with airport user groups and daily operations.
