Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work on the Project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete the tasks set forth in the Project specifications and as shown on the construction plans. The principal items of work to be constructed, along with approximate quantities, are as follows: Base Bid Items Item Quantity Unit Site Work 1 LS Concrete Wheel Stops 21 UN Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), 5" Thick 10 SY Porous Asphalt 1,050 SY Pavement markings and Striping 1 LS Parking Lot Signs 5 UN Alternate Bid No. 1 Item Quantity Unit 3" Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Surface 1300 SY Course at Path to Dog Park. The County is not responsible for bids delivered or otherwise not arriving on time. The County reserve the right under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 to reject all bids for the reasons stated therein. Respondents are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.A.C. 17:27, and all other applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances concerning affirmative action goals and equal employment opportunity. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24, the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders reserve the right to consider the bid proposals for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. Moreover, the Board reserves the right to waive minor informalities not considered material defects under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.
