The City of Pearland is proposing to upgrade as well as expand its Waste Reclamation Facility, which is located in the City of Pearland. The JHEC WRF Expansion Project includes rehabilitation of the existing currently permitted Average Daily Flow (ADF) treatment capacity of 4 MGD plus an expansion to an ADF treatment capacity of 6 MGD and PHF of 24 MGD, with provisions in the yard piping and some process units to account for the future ultimate ADF and 2-hr peak flow of 8 MGD and 32 MGD, respectively. The current schedule anticipates sitework and equipment packages may be issued as early as July, 2020 as part of an Early Works Package and the balance of construction bid packages may be issued starting in September of 2020.
