Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The construction of 780m of 200mm diameter watermain, 608m of 300mm to 750mm diameter storm sewer, 720m of 200mm diameter sanitary sewer, 7420m2 of asphalt roadway, 1050m2 of concrete sidewalk, 1905m of concrete curb and gutter and other miscellaneous works for the reconstruction of Fearnwood Street, Shaw Avenue and Trillium Avenue. The work is to be constructed in three (3) stages. The stages are generally as follows: - Stage 1 Fearnwood Street - Fisher Mills Road to Milton Avenue West; - Stage 2 Shaw Avenue West - Fearnwood Street to Trillium Avenue - Stage 3 Trillium Avenue - Shaw Avenue West to Fisher Mills Road The Contractor shall complete the construction of Stage 1 to base asphalt prior to commencement of Stage 2 of the project. The Contractor shall complete the construction of Stage 2 to base asphalt prior to commencement of Stage 3 of the project. Revised Deadline for questions is Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis. Bid date has been extended to April 06, 2020. In the event, City Hall is still closed to the public on April 6th : - Bidders are to deposit their sealed envelopes in the drop box located to the left of the main entrance (facing Dickson Street) before 2:00 p.m. on the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted. Size of envelope is limited to 8.5 in x 11 in and no thicker than 1 in. Only the Form of Tender and bid bond need to be submitted. - There will be no public opening conducted. Bid results will be posted on the Biddingo.com website as soon as possible.
