Pre-Bid meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, March 19,2020 at 10:30 AM is cancelled. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the name of the project plainly marked on the front of the envelope and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract amount. Subcontractors named in the Form of Bid Proposal for Structural Steel, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and/or Electric, who perform any work on the Project must be prequalified prior to the submission of bids, pursuant to the State of New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC). Each bid must be accompanied by proof of Contractor's DPMC classification status. Project Substantial Completion: Work will commence within Ten (10) Calendar Days after receipt of written "Notice to Proceed" and be substantially completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and Contractor's Construction Schedule for substantial completion of the entire project including a Certificate of Occupancy for the entire building by August 27, 2020 All Bidders should contact the Architect's Office at (609)-695-7400 to confirm details of availability of Bidding Document The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law, if it is in the best interest of the Owner.
