Renovation of an educational facility in Villa Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education, DuPage High School District 88, Addison, IL, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, requests sealed, single lump-sum proposals for: 2020 Roofing Work at Willowbrook High School & Addison Trail High School according to the Contract Documents prepared by Wight & Company, hereinafter referred to as the Architect. The project consists of replacement of the roofing system on selected areas at Willowbrook High School and Addison Trail High School. Action on said Proposals will be taken by the OWNER at a later date, at a regular, adjourned, or special meeting of the Board of Education. All proposals received after the hereinbefore stipulated time and date will be rejected and/or will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened, at the option of the OWNER. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the bidding procedure as their interests may appear. As of April 13,2020 the board met and awarded this project. Based on information submitted in their proposal, the scope review and their previous positive work experience with Wight and DuPage SD88, Wight & Company recommends the contract award to Knickerbocker Roofing & Paving Co., Inc. in the amount of $756,000.
