Renovation of a municipal facility in Lima, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,852-square-foot municipal facility.

PROJECT SCOPES OF WORK General Construction: Interior office renovation of approximately 3,852 square feet. Demolition of existing items noted on drawings including existing flooring, base, ceiling, casework, storefront, cut/patch existing slab for plumbing re-work, and any other demolition items indicated on the plans. Patch three existing doorways with masonry as indicated on the drawings. Including blocking in walls, insulation, fire stopping and joint sealants as needed. New hollow metal door frames to be installed along with hollow metal doors and wood doors, aluminum framed storefronts, complete with door hardware and glazing. Metal stud and drywall wall construction with acoustical ceilings with drywall bulkhead as indicated on ceiling plan. Flooring to include tile, vinyl tile, tile carpeting, and sheet carpeting. Painting as indicated on drawings and restroom signs as shown on the drawings. Include toilet accessories as shown on the schedule on drawings. Provide laminate casework with laminate tops as indicated on the drawings. Fire Protection Work: N/A Plumbing Work: Demolish existing restrooms within the renovation area. Cap all non-used sanitary and plumbing piping under ground and within chase as noted on the drawings. Verify existing sizes, types and locations on site. New fixtures, piping, insulation, valves and other items to be installed as indicated on the drawings. HVAC Work: Demolish existing condensing unit, control dampers, diffusers, grilles and associated ductwork in the locations indicated on the drawings. Provide and install new two stage condensing unit, variable air volume reheat boxes, controls, ductwork, insulation, diffusers, grilles. dampers, air monitoring devices and ductwork devices in the locations indicated on the drawings. Controls shall be a bacnet system connected to existing Niagra N4 control system front end. Coordinate all other requirements 19084.00 Allen County Brd. of DD - Office Reno. Bid Documents ABBREVIATED SCOPE OF WORK 00 1115 - 2 on site. Electrical and Technology Work: Demolish existing lighting, power, and systems in the office area. Provide new lighting, power from existing local panels, and fire alarm. The existing fire alarm panel will need relocated and a few new devices added to the existing system. The new lighting system will contain LED luminaries with local controls will be installed in each new space. Provide power to the new mechanical system including a condensing unit, exhaust fans, and the like. A new access control system will be installed for the new entrance and tie into owner's existing system. Pathways for future technology cabling to be installed. Relocate a few existing security devices such as motion detectors, security bell and keypad. A new camera system will be installed at the school consisting of cabling, a security work station, NVR (Network Video Recorder), software, and exterior cameras on the school building and bus garage. EN A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. If a bid security in the amount of 10% of the full bid amount is submitted with this bid, each successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond from an acceptable surety in the amount of 100% of the full contract amount in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. If a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid is submitted with the bid, no additional Performance and Labor and Material Bond is required to be furnished by the successful Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law.
