Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
In general the work consists of: Site improvements to the Northwest edge of campus at the intersection of Main Street and Cascade Ave. Work includes a new monument sign, retaining wall, lighting, sanitary sewer, brick pavers, sidewalks, planting beds, and irrigation. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
