Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pleasant Hill, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 24,000-square-foot, one-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
**As of December 31 , 2020. Project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed. The proposed new library will be approximately 24,000 gross square-foot single story building located on a site of approximately 9.0 acre site of currently vacant land and includes all supporting site improvements. The Library scope of work included, but is not limited to, the construction of a new structural steel frame, Type II-B (unprotected non-combustible construction) building. The library construction includes all relevant scopes of work; weather-tight exterior assemblies, roofing, metal-stud framing and interior gypsum partitions, wood ceiling systems, and related electrical plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems, utilities/infrastructure and interior/exterior architectural finishes. The Library Architect is Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, San Francisco, California. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
