Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hartland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project involves removal and disposal of approximately 7,200 square yards of existing asphalt material, excavation and landfill disposal of approximately 2,400 cubic yards of existing road base material, preparation of subgrade, new crushed aggregate road base, installation of 4-inch underdrain, miscellaneous curb and gutter removal and replacements, adjustment of structures to grade, and new asphalt pavement. Project also involves miscellaneous asphalt patching, reconstruction of an asphalt service driveway, reconstruction and decorative concrete work of a parking lot/alley, and reconstruction of an existing municipal parking lot. No Pre-bid Meeting. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Hartland as liquidated damages.
