Project involves the replacement of 4 hydrants and hydrant valves, 3 mainline 8-inch water valves, replacement of catch basin frames and grates, resetting existing catch basin frames, replacement of manhole and catch basin concrete adjustment rings for various structures in the Village, 70-feet of 4-inch sanitary lateral installation, abandonment of 2 existing copper water service connections and new connections to an existing water main, concrete curb and gutter replacements, concrete driveway replacements, asphalt driveway replacements, asphalt roadway patching, landscape restoration, erosion control, and traffic control. Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre-Bid Meeting. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Hartland and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Hartland as liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
