Project involves approximately 50,500 L.F. of road and approximately 50,150 S.F. of parking lot crack and joint routing, cleaning, and sealing of various locations throughout the Village, localized traffic control and street sweeping of work areas. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre-Bid Meeting A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date and may be delivered electronically. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Hartland as liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
