The project includes replacement of four-pipe fan coil units, make-up air units, hydronic air handling units, split systems, exhaust fans, one air-cooled chiller (out of two), automated HVAC controls, and electrical components associated with the HVAC system. It will be acceptable to re-use existing ductwork and piping to the greatest extent possible. WJCC would like for the scope to include cleaning and sealing of ductwork and adding more isolation valves to the hydronic piping. One additional air-cooled chiller and all hydronic pumps were replaced in 2019 and will be included in the scope as add-alternates. The hot water boilers were replaced in 2022 and will be excluded from the scope of this project. This project is included in the city's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 17, 2025, per owner, project will go out to bid in 2-3 weeks. Construction will take place in three phases: summer 2025, Winter Break 2025, and summer 2026.
