**As of May 22, 2020, the project has been awarded and it will be a 5 year contract.** The work consists of furnishing all material, labor, and equipment necessary for Emergency Signal Repair in the City of Melbourne. All work is to be done in accordance to the specifications. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than 30% of the work based on the total contract price and shall be an FDOT Prequalified Traffic Signal Contractor. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect and shall not be relied upon by Bidders in submitting their bids. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. Bid bonds shall be countersigned by an agent having an established place of business in the State of Florida. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 55 days after scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion or family status.
