Redevelopment of the Summerside West Lands, known locally as Hippenstall Corner. The 6.12-acre site on Summerside Waterfront is an underutilized parcel of land containing prime waterfront development potential. TIMELINE: A RFQ for the redevelopment of the property was issued by the owner in 2020. The goal was to seek proposals for the acquisition and redevelopment of the land. No interest has been received by the private sector to this date. Timelines for development are unknown. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
